Originally released in 1968, one year before man first stepped foot on the Moon, Science Fiction Dance Party is the equally sleazy pair to the previous release by German cosmonauts Horst Ackermann and Heribert Thusek, titled Dracula’s Music Cabinet. Both records are crate digging rarities, lovingly re-presented by independent archival collective Finders Keepers Records. With cosmic sounds and easygoing psych rock jams recorded from far beyond the ring of Uranus, Ackermann and Thusek launch us into a series of whimsical space age vignettes and campy alien soap operas. Over fifty years into the future, Science Fiction Dance Party has neither lost its charm nor its humour.
