It makes complete sense for Madlib to put this one out on his own imprint; the fuzzy 1960s psychedelia of Little Barrie and Malcolm Catto’s Quatermass Seven sounds exactly like the sort of thing the producer would’ve lifted out of a dusty vinyl crate somewhere for a whirlwind sample. Laden with gnarly grooves and positively dripping with vintage sci-fi-meets-desert rock riffs, Quatermass Seven is like a British blues explosion unto itself.
