The right honourable Julien Auger aka Pepe Bradock returns to Atavisme with more sideways glances at vintage techno and house. Dactylonomy II sees the notoriously multi-talented producer on his usual fine form, wheeling out effervescent grooves and off-kilter synthesis like the dancefloor surrealist he is. He’s even wavier than usual on the likes of ‘Index’, ‘Pitcher’ and ‘Danske*Mansus’, his bass lines flitting about wildly across unbeatable propulsive momentum.
