Longstanding co-conspirators in the transatlantic avant-garde electronic scene, it only makes sense for Deadbeat and The Mole to eventually team up, if only to see what breed of madness ensues. As such, you could call Deadbeat Meets The Mole a fantastic house album — ‘For all that was lost’ shows it certainly is. But that would mean overlooking the brilliantly strange garbled avant-dub noise of ‘Bodner vs the cardboard box’, or the unexpectedly lovely ‘fourth world’ ambient of ‘Farfisa hoser hymnal’
