Powerful soundscapes from Jeremy Gara which hold your attention in a hypnotising stasis. Gara is the drummer from Arcade Fire, and his album, Passerine Finale, finds a home on Invada, a label owned by Geoff Barrow of Portishead. It’s a special collaboration of musical minds which results in a breathtaking record of single note drones, chilling noise and cavernous resonance.
