Bleep

Swallow is a unique, squirm-inducing horror film about a quietly frustrated housewife who consumes small objects just to feel something. It’s an oddly engrossing subject, and Nathan Halpern’s score treats it with the kind of dramatic flair it needs to become deadly serious. There’s a hint of Hitchcockian noir to his strings, liable to swoop around romantically and darkly pitch the horrific tension as the film sees fit.
