Manchester multidisciplinary artist Murlo follows up his long-awaited debut LP Dolos with an elaboration on his pseudo-mythological electronic sound. Primed for Primal yet again draws the thin line between the euphorias of then and now, linking the dancing rituals of a pre-Roman landscape with the commonality of the 21st century club, manifested in synaptic, Konono Nº1-like percussiveness and ecstatic vocal performances on the likes of ‘Primal’.
