Düsseldorf producer and Kreidler band member Detlef Weinrich eschews electronica conventions with his third solo LP under his Tolouse Low Trax moniker. Owing to its magpie approach to genre, Jeidem Fall doesn’t sound like anything else. The indecipherable vocal and stomping electronic march of ‘Geo Scan’ recall Throbbing Gristle at their most menacing, just as the title track suggests the skeleton of a techno beat with forestry field recordings and a digitised bongo rhythm.
