Armed with an arsenal of vintage-sounding machines and a good sense for an Artificial Intelligence era-style beat, the conjoined electronic beast of Adapta and Uexkull known as Bitstream return with Communion EP. The flecks of acid are more vivid than ever on the likes of ‘Eltromat’ and ‘Glycon’, being pushed to skittering limits with ‘Temporeal’. But the opening title track presents a more space-aged mentality for the duo, all darkly glimmering synths and wavy bass.
