After a run of awesomely out-there left-field pseudo-electro releases on The Trilogy Tapes as Chemotex, L.I.E.S. mainstay Marcos Cabral returns to his spiritual home with Spell Breaker. This time, Cabral runs the gamut of his heavier discordant techno styles, recalling the fuzzier end of the Artificial Intelligence spectrum on the likes of ‘Figure Skating’ and the squelching, bubbling leads of ‘Same Old Story’ and ‘Asphex’.
