Sheffield producer Brianna Price continues her pitch black drum n bass shenanigans under her new Baby T moniker with her inaugural outing. As any name change should, I Against I sees Price switching tact from the bombastic techno of B.Traits to something a shade darker, but no less hardcore or junglist. ‘Estrogen Attitude’ is a case in point; a skittering, malevolent beat lays the groundwork for tubular bass passages, and before you know it, the mix explodes into a maniacal DnB rhythm as clangorous as it is utterly terrifying, nestled somewhere between the shadowy avenues of acid and EBM.
