Eastern Flowers, an album which first emerged in 2019 under the translated title Doğu Çiçekleri, is a hugely evocative set of Anatolian-inspired instrumental rock from Swedish artist Sven Wunder. This is a record which fuses a core aesthetic derived from 70s library-rock with prog, funk and just a dash of jazz-fusion in order to create bold and vibrant instrumental numbers. Eastern Flowers comes off as the midpoint between Goat and The Heliocentrics.
