Following up releases by the likes of Roy Ayers, Jazz Is Dead return with their third instalment of wildly inventive jazz jams, recorded straight from Linear Labs, LA. As if series mainstays Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad haven’t been humble-bragging enough this whole time, this release sees the duo collaborate with Brazilian composer extraordinaire Marcos Valle. The LP is singular, whilst maintaining a playfully diverse tonal sensibility, revelling in bossa nova, soul and jazz.
