One of our favourite labels returns in the Spring of its 5th Anniversary with this three tracker from the guys who started it off in the first place, Becket and Taylor. As per usual it's bursting with energy, madness, and tons of skewed invention.  'Wood Fire' is a schizophrenic, beautiful mess - all chopped up percussive ticks, funky keys, twisted vox and a static gauze that tickles the whole body. The flip is equally as fried but more suited for the floors, an analog 4/4 stomp that builds to a squiggly 303 climax. Closing things is a typically brilliant Spandex edit (mutant balearic?) of the title track...
