Originally released back in 1999, CiM’s Series Two EP is now remastered and reissued via Delsin Records. It is testament to the enduring quality of CiM’s production here that this record still delivers some brilliantly calibrated IDM-techno grooves which balance compositional innovation with pure dancefloor heft. There is a bit of Herbert’s 90s deep-house style to the shuffle of Series Two opener ‘Bias’ and also the contemplative synth pads of following track ‘Soft Rain’.
