PJ Harvey’s 1995 LP To Bring You My Love saw the musician flesh out her repertoire beyond the rawness of her first two LPs into a whole new realm of musical richness. But for those of you who want to hear her workings and developments, To Bring You My Love - Demos provides a tantalising bridging point from Harvey’s lo-fi past. Much like the entirety of the album, the title track comes here in its skeletal form, allowing Harvey’s phlegmatic deliveries to tell stories of romance gone-awry, accompanied by little more than two guitars and a ghostly organ drone.
