Ebecs is the latest collection of wistful club productions from Robert Johnson resident O-Wells to be released via Die Orakel. There is a similar air of halcyon-glow dreaminess shared between the tracks here and contemporaries such as upsammy and and D Tiffany, but the O-Wells sound is more obviously indebted to classic techno and electro styles. Tracks like ‘Schnuck’ and ‘LL0P 1’ also skew influences from electronica, glitch and illbient into strange new shapes.
