Two giants of UK hardware riff on their shared passion for funk-driven acid with Old Tight Selektah. The result: a glorious 20 minutes of tightly screwed dancefloor fodder. There’s barely enough room to take a breath between the opening self-titled track and ‘Bar Tab’, both perfectly exemplifying the EP’s stance; the first, an acoustic-lead percussive banger adorned with horns, the second an 808-driven breakbeat cut every bit as quick as its predecessor. A classy lick of acid bass binds the lot.
