Pioneering duo Ultradyne’s label, Pi Gao Movement, is updating its sound with new material and some timeless favourites from the vaults. On this conceptual mini-compilation, Unseen Forces, a bonafide, electro classic ‘Dr. Blowfin's Experiment’ is accompanied by another early 90s hit, ‘Crossphaze’. Produced by Ultradyne’s Dennis Richardson and Gerald Donald (of Drexciya), the eerie Motor City sounds of ‘Crossphaze’ were originally released on Daniel Bell’s Accelerate label. Two pieces of Ultradyne’s Detroit techno history re-packaged with a new story and for a new generation, alongside a pair stand-out, fresh works which capture the same vintage, sci-fi feeling.
