No stranger to space enveloping drones and ambient pieces, Jobin goes strikingly austere across two sidelong pieces (and one breather); ‘inertia’ invokes a world of absences, its suspended tone vibrating into gratifying modular synthesis. It’s twin piece ‘p’ injects a slow-burning distortion into its textures.
