This EP is a lovely trio of sunset DJ tools from Nous’klaer Records newcomer Altan. The Lake Tuz EP begins in Balearic territory, the dubby chords of record’s opening title-track swaying lazily atop a crisp tech-house beat and rolling low-end. While the sun-kissed atmospherics remain, Lake Tuz becomes more energetic as it progresses, with ‘Birds Flying Near The Surface’ and particularly closing cut ‘Melendiz’ jockeying some rather sprightly drum programming.
