Forgotten cassettes oftentimes contain the greatest of treasures. Case in point, this. Produced in the 1980s by an enigmatic experimentalist of synthesised sound, Crossed Wires was rediscovered for any sonic explorer’s delight. Adorned with very little information save for track numbers, this release recounts icy synth compositions, formal experimentations in sampling and — perhaps most vital of all — some early techno explorations.
