There still isn't too much info out there on the Waffles project - it is something to do with Soulwax’s Deewee imprint, but apart from that the records released by Waffles between 2015 and 2018 remain shrouded in mystery. What one can say about Waffles 006 is that this is a pair of exuberant and coy Italo-disco tunes which invoke the very best of Giorgio Moroder. A-side ‘Poland Waffle’ has something of Loose Joints’ ‘Is It All Over My Face’ about it as well.
