Following up 2019’s Baroque Sunburst debut from Big Hands, the label doubles down on its innovative beat technologies with the singular Kraepelin Avenue EP by London producer Soreab. A rhythmic explorer by instinct, Soreab combs liquid grooves through implacable sonic palettes and mulls of sound design in a bid to form a wholly unique dancefloor experience. ‘Awakening Processes’ and ‘Flowers’ construct subtly upbeat and glassy melodies seemingly from thin air, while ‘Pods’ and ‘Jyraghie’ accelerate their beats into heavier territory while maintaining a gently searching sensibility.
