An EP intimate with the techno traditions of Detroit and Berlin here from Priori. Across the tracks of SCN we find the producer locking into a mode which draws out the most mysterious elements of these well-worn sounds. The overall aesthetic of the record borders on the meditative dub-techno of of Mark Ernestus and the like, but there is something open and curious about the synth atmospheres here which feels more indebted to both The Belleville Three and modern practitioners such as D. Tiffany.
