Schmeichel - presumably no relation to the famous goalkeepers - seems to disassemble his aesthetic in real time across the HiConcentrated Music EP. We begin in footwork and juke territory, though there is still something delicate to ‘HRZN’ and ‘Elements’ which means that HiConcentrated Music never quite goes full Teklife. From here on out things soften and slow considerably, with Schmeichel favouring a sound that is pitched at the more ruminative end of the Soulection style.
