But bass is only the beginning for eleVAte Volume 1 as each artist brings a special flavour to the genre. Pugilist offers up strong garage swings with ‘Eclipse’, as Otik deals in space arpeggiators for ‘Apollon’. Side B sees Commix’s ‘New Moves’ and Appleblim’s ‘Hydrothermal Vents’ meld a classic bass sound with techno velocities.
