The original version of ‘Baby Forgive Me’ which appeared on Robyn’s 2018 LP Honey was already a lush and ruminative piece of slow house-pop. In the hands of Young Marco this thing unfurls even further, the run-time blooming from four to seven minutes as the Safe Trip Records boss fogs up the mix in order to create a wistful Balearic delight. On the flip, Robyn realises her long-held ambition of having Robert and Lyric Hood’s euphoric house project Floorplan rework one of her tracks. Dubs of both remixes bulk out the impressive Baby Forgive Me EP.
