Here we have a set of remixes based around Robyn’s ‘Ever Again’, the closer to her Honey LP. The original track may have been a widescreen piece of synthpop, but each remix opts to take ‘Ever Again’ in rather different directions. Soulwax’s flip is a funky delight replete with ebullient piano and slap bass, Planningtorock’s house version shuffles and snaps, and Patrick Topping’s thrilling take balances the heft of a pulsing EBM beat with the sweetness of Robyn’s vocal harmonies.
