DJ and producer Jackson Ryland debuts on 1432R with a set of hardcore techno. While the meat of Stealth Mode EP harkens back to the golden age of hard and heavy beats, there’s plenty of fresh new ideas brought to the table. The breakneck speed of ‘Aloe Vera’ and the blistering title track balance their weighty measures with the bubbling of synths and high end percussion, while the blunt impact of ‘Blaze Freak’ and ‘Air & Space’ are offset by Ryland’s sense for mounting tension.
