This where it all started. Belle and Sebastian’s debut LP Tigermilk was a slow-burn success, taking years to achieve widespread acclaim after its 1996 release. However, nowadays it is difficult to imagine the modern musical landscape without Tigermilk - the heartfelt, witty musings that Stuart Murdoch and Co. laid down across these ten pieces of twee-tinged chamber-pop have gone on to become cult classics and influence the likes of Beirut, Frightened Rabbit and Fleet Foxes.
