Coming from two of the finest in electronic music — Ricardo Villalobos and Edward — Down marks a collaborative debut for the duo, appearing as Disordered Rhythm Metronomy. This 12” hosts two tracks of bass ingenuity, beginning by underpinning the snaking synths of ‘Vormlock’. Meanwhile, side B’s title track unfolds its crackling beat over gossamer textures.
