We Release Jazz, sister label to the indefatigable WRWTFWW, get on brand with a soulful jazz record. Paired with the label’s coterminous release of My Greatest Love, the self-titled 1974 LP by Genevan outfit Boillat Thérace Quintet makes for similarly virtuosic hard bop listening, stacked with renditions of songs by band favourite Freddie Hubbard, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, and a selection of groovy modal originals.
