Circling Vultures man Justin Long’s Soft Machine imprint lands another tasty slice of industrial techno courtesy of newcomer Mike Broers. The four tracker SM-002 skews the lighter end of dirty darkness — although no less cacophonous with an ever-present eye towards the dancefloor on the slow-burning cut and paste sonics of ‘Arjun’ and ‘Graveyard Dirt’, the no nonsense beat of ‘Raksha’ and the Konono No1-esque distortion of ‘Limb Chulu’.
