Taking cues from the Detroit innovators and the synthesised advancements of Kraftwerk, Wladimir M.’s Leaves Fallin’ Recklessly melds a loose narrative — spoken word sections fed through vocoders — with strikingly fresh rhythms that wouldn’t sound out of place in a contemporary club.
