A collaboration between This Heat drummer Charles Hayward and London performance art/noise duo Harmergeddon produces the explosive full-length record which we were all hoping it would. There is a grinding, thrusting thread which runs through much of Hayward Versus Harmergeddon that pushes out beyond Krautrock and motorik music to land upon a more avant-garde - and more intense - terrain. Think Bonnacons Of Doom as recalibrated by The Eccentronic Research Council and you’re in the right ballpark.
