Garies. Now that’s a name. New EP In Bits sees Lumigraph and New Jackson uniting to deliver a quartet of weird electronics and slightly unhinged techno for the excellent Future Times label. These tracks are exuberant and wide-eyed, the drums and synths crashing around like some Trilogy Tapes/L.I.E.S. drop which has been fed too much sugar. ‘In Bits’ and ‘What A Room’ are quicker while ‘Emergency Tenner’ and ‘Not That It Matters’ slow down a little, but everything here is delightfully quixotic.
