The superb A Colourful Storm front up Seconds Mark III from New Zealand underground legend Alastair Galbraith. This record is the sort of wild and unpredictable ride which lets you know that you are dealing with a singular musical mind here.. Throughout Seconds Mark III a number of acoustic vignettes ala Daniel Johnston and lo-fi acoustic tapings which have something of The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s early LPs about them rub up against avant-garde string-led work reminiscent of John Cale.
