Keleketla! is a project which warrants an exclamation mark in its name. Originally devised as a link-up between Coldcut and a collection of South African musicians that includes Sibusile Xaba, Keleketla!’s upcoming full-length features a whole plethora of high-profile guests. The late, great Tony Allen and gqom producer DJ Mabheko are among those who contribute to ‘Future Toyi Toyi’, the result being a propulsive and psychedelic party-starter. Yugen Blakrok and Tamar Osborn contribute to B-side ‘Crystallise’.
