Loop LF return with some more nuanced minimal techno on Drifting Forwards. The record blends left-field dancefloor techniques with micro-house restraint, lending depth to the light grazes of ‘IZ 200’ and the synthesised whooshes of the title track. Much like Jan Jelinek, Loop LF say a lot with relatively little, making Drifting Forwards a record much bigger than the sum of its parts — with some cool, monochromatic artwork to boot.
