Starting life as a collaborative effort between Young H, Dread MC and Rider Shafique, Young Echo collective member Chris Ebdan aka Ishan Sound got his studied paws on ‘We A Talk’ and reworked the tune into a crepuscular slice of bars-punctuated bass. The low end gets a well-earned raise, and its twinkling melody cuts through the mix like a knife from the shadows. Meanwhile, Ishan loads the second side with original joint ‘Red’, a pitch black bass number that perfectly complements the proceedings.
