The cheekily titled Music Sounds Better With Shoe might be a slightly baffling non-sequitur, but there’s little that’s silly about this off-kilter techno release from Arthur Cayzer and Jamie Roberts aka Karenn. The A-side hosts a sought-after cut debuted ages ago during a Boiler Room set, the bubbling bass stomper ‘On Request’, while its brilliantly buoyant, B-side ‘Shoes Off’, a deep techno joint vivid with popping melodies, is a number written during the Grapefruit Regret sessions. Lord knows why it didn’t make the final edit.
