Kuldaboli’s rambunctious, 80s-flavoured club style proves a fine fit for Bunker Records on Milljón Ára En Held Mér Ungum Bunker Version, the first release in the label’s new Bunker Darknet series. These tracks hover on the border of electro and techno, but also manage to imbue the sound with Kuldaboli’s unique edge - ‘Vökuskóli’ and ‘Hey Gaur?!’ feature some great squelchy tones in the low mids. The latter also displays some distinctly synth-pop-styled keyboards, something that takes greater prominence on the Milljón Ára En Held Mér Ungum Bunker Version’s almost Italians Do It Better-esque closing cut ‘Sýn Milli Heima’.
