Mike Smith delivers a quintet of Crossover Network tracks for Rotterdam Electronix on new EP Abattoir Of Dreams. By and large the tunes here are low-slung and acidic electro joints that skulk and snark in the darkness, tracks that throw an evil shroud over the classic Bunker Records sound. At times this effect causes them to largely leave electro pastures behind - ‘Abattoir Of Dreams’ is too slow and menacing to be filed in the same class as Drexciya.
