Skudge’s third LP sees the Swedish duo pull off more intricate and detailed house goodness in line with their slew of 12” releases. Time Tracks singularly manages to combine beautifully simple 4/4 dancefloor functionality and inventive synthesised sound, grounding beats on tracks like ‘Black Moon’, ‘Lava Lake’ and ‘Ifach’ in vintage familiarity as well as otherworldly strangeness. Even the swirling synths of snapshot track ‘Mesh’ invoke a unique take on the style.
