Inspired by Neo Soul, Hip-Hop and Brazilian Music - It’s difficult to pin a specific genre on So Nice - the twilit synths and tones borrowed from classic house evoke Galcher Lustwerk, though the record never really breaks into full-on club music, and twisted takes on r ‘n’ b, club-ambient, trip-hop and the Sad Boys/Drain Gang style can also be seen through the smoke.
