The Housefactors is but one of the many aliases of the legendary Larry Heard. Originally dropped in 1990, Big Bang Theory was the second and final EP that Heard put out under this name. It’s an underrated but crucial piece of the Heard puzzle, the two tracks here driving onwards with typical Midwestern playfulness while also incorporating influences from bleep-techno. The fact that ‘Big Bang Theory’ and ‘Total Control’ both have a slightly zany vibe only adds to the fun.
