The man Daedelus aka Alfred Darlington and his better half Laura took their relationship into the studio and have delivered us arguably the lovliest album bleep has heard this year. Their eponymous debut record mines similair territory to Daedelus ; all swoonsome exotica, lilting tropicala and latin jazz but and its a crucial but, the sonic onus is now firmly on acoustica. Call and response husband and wife vocal exchanges play off in this organic guitar-scape, where elegantly simple arrangements hook you in. Overall the Long Lost is a terrific piece of work.
