After an EP for Rhythm Section International last year, Pinty now steps out on his own Winged Feet imprint with new mixtape Midnight Moods. This is an endearing release, one that finds Pinty spitting with a sing-song flow over beats that range from low-slung hip-hop to harmonious two-step. DJ JD Sports, a lesser-spotted alias from one Archy Marshall (King Krule), has a production credit here - indeed, Marshall’s A New Place 2 Drown LP is a good point of reference for Midnight Moods.
