The instrumentals here barrel forward on crashing programmed drums and turbulent basslines while Nicola Kuperus is a typically foreboding presence up front. Nothing on Perception Is/As/Of Deception breaks new ground for ADULT. - but when you’re this good at what you do, why would you want to do anything else?
